Residents of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza are reporting relentless explosions as Israeli forces continue demolishing buildings, allegedly to expand a buffer zone. According to medical sources, at least 13 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza since dawn on April 11, 2025. The ongoing attacks have resulted in numerous casualties, with reports indicating at least ten Palestinians, including seven children, killed in an Israeli attack on Khan Younis.
In Rafah, an aerial attack on civilians resulted in one death and four injuries, while in al-Atatra, Beit Lahiya, two were killed and others injured in an Israeli bombardment.
The Gaza Health Ministry has confirmed at least 50,886 Palestinian deaths and 115,875 injuries due to the conflict. The Government Media Office has updated the death toll to over 61,700, which includes those presumed dead under the rubble. The World Health Organization (WHO) chief has issued a stark warning about the increasing threat of disease and death due to the ongoing Israeli blockade of aid entering Gaza, where more than 10,000 people urgently require medical evacuation. The situation remains critical as aid blockades exacerbate the already dire humanitarian crisis.
