Gaza is facing a dire humanitarian crisis as a result of the ongoing conflict and blockade. With no food, water, or medical supplies entering the Gaza Strip since March 2, 2025, residents are resorting to desperate measures for survival. Some Palestinian fishermen have even been forced to eat turtle meat due to severe food shortages. These conditions coincide with ongoing discussions at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) regarding Israel’s humanitarian obligations to Palestinians.
