The World Health Organization (WHO) has labeled the aid situation an “abomination,” reporting starvation among children in Gaza. The UNRWA confirms that the aid trucks are unable to enter due to the blockade, now in its third month.

Torture Allegations Emerge

Adding to the crisis, allegations of torture have emerged following the release of Palestinian detainees by Israeli forces. Among those released was an ambulance driver who had been missing for weeks. The detainees claim they were subjected to torture while in Israeli custody.

Rising Casualties

Meanwhile, the conflict continues to take a devastating toll on civilians. Over the past 24 hours, Israeli forces have killed at least 31 Palestinians, including women and children. According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, at least 52,365 Palestinians have been killed and 117,905 wounded. The Gaza Government Media Office reports an even higher death toll, with over 61,700 fatalities, including thousands missing under rubble.

West Bank Tensions

In the West Bank, tensions also remain high. A woman was reportedly shot and killed by Israeli forces near Ramallah.

International Scrutiny

Internationally, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) is holding hearings on Israel’s obligations to Palestinians. South Africa has accused Israel of committing “atrocity crimes, persecution, apartheid, and genocide.” Amnesty International has accused Israel of a “livestreamed genocide,” citing forced displacement and the deliberate creation of a humanitarian catastrophe.

Conflicting War Goals

Conflicting reports have emerged regarding Israel’s primary war goal. While an unnamed Israeli military source stated the goal is securing the return of captives, Prime Minister Netanyahu says the main objective is “victory over our enemies.”

Yemen Missile Intercepted

In a separate incident, the Israeli military intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, triggering air attack warnings in several areas.
